NEW SOLUTION OVERCOMES CHALLENGES
Freshwater conservation and the environmental impacts of responsibly managing saline fluid as a sustainable solution requires safe, environmentally sensitive long-term storage solutions. Current available saline storage infrastructure has proven to have its challenges with respect to containment integrity, long-term reliability, and cost certainties.
Western Engineered Containment and Bay Tank and Vessel of Canada are building OGCBC and AER compliant 50,000 m3 produced water storage tanks. The tanks are ESG focussed, will result in a 75% reduction in surface impact when compared to Engineered Containment Ponds and cost effective.

THE BAYTANK SOLUTION
As a solution, we are pleased to offer the BayTank, an innovative design cornerstoned by a decades-old storage solution and integrating cutting-edge Engineered Containment System (ECS). The BayTank solution provides the industry with the safest, smallest environmental footprint and long-term saline fluid storage system in the industry today.
The BayTank consists of an API 650 steel welded storage tank as secondary containment with a seamless PRECIDIUM™ ECS™ spray-applied lining system as primary containment. This integration creates the largest available above-ground saline storage system in the industry. Designed to meet the intent and technical requirements of AER Directive 055 and BC OGC for secondary containment, and saline fluid storage requirements. This proprietary design allows the BayTank to specifically meet our client’s individual facility needs offering any volume up to 65,000 cubic meters.
