SAIT Family Science Day, Fracking with Jello Day Modern Miracle Network, the SPE Young Professionals, SPE Calgary Section and the SAIT Student Chapter want to show off the innovative ways we bring energy to meet the world needs. Through hands-on experiments, you will learn the science behind energy production – everything from fracking to density, porosity, and pressure. You’ll also be able to tour the SAIT drilling rig simulator, coil tubing simulator, and production lab.
There is something for everyone, in or out of industry, experience or none, young or old!
Date: Saturday, February 29th Location: Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in the Johnson-Cobbe Energy Centre.
Time: 9:30am to 5:00pm (drop in anytime)
