The Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (CsHm) is one of the most important conferences for hydrocarbon measurement professionals and production accountants in Canada. The event provides an excellent opportunity for energy professionals to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technology advancements. A+ pioneered the use of membranes for removing liquids to protect analyzers in both gas and liquid streams with their Genie Membrane Separators.

Additionally, the company pioneered the use of membranes on sample probes, eliminating liquids at pipeline conditions to ensure a representative sample as well as preventing liquids from contaminating the sample system and process analyzer.
Another product line Westech will be featuring at the show is their Anton Paar products. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of high-quality measuring instruments and a representative will also be present at the Westech booth. Anton Paar’s products are designed to help customers optimize their operations by providing accurate and reliable data on viscosity, density, and other critical parameters.

Last but not least Westech will also be highlighting their Hobré process analyzers. Particularly the company’s TISOMIC process analyzer which uses a novel Photo Acoustic Tunable Diode Laser (PA-TDL) technology for the measurement of moisture, H2S, H2O, and CO2.
In addition to showcasing its latest products and services, Westech Industrial partners will be part of the program at the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement. These presentations will provide attendees with insights into the latest technologies and trends in the hydrocarbon measurement industry.
Both presentations will take place on Wednesday March 22nd. The first session is at 8:30am, Carvel Jasmin from Hobre will present on the “Evolution of Technology in H2S and H2O Measurement” in the Sampling & Analysis category. The presentation will cover the latest advancements in H2S and H2O measurement technologies, including the use of process analyzers, spectroscopy, and other techniques. Attendees will learn about the benefits and limitations of each approach, as well as best practices for implementing these technologies in their operations.
Later that morning, at 11:00am on Wednesday, Vincent Argrave from A+ Corporation Intermediate will present on “Sampling and Conditioning of Natural Gas Containing Entrained Liquids” in the Sampling & Analysis category. The presentation will cover the challenges and best practices for sampling and conditioning natural gas streams that contain entrained liquids. Attendees will learn about the latest technologies and techniques for removing liquids from gas streams, as well as best practices for maintaining accurate and reliable measurements.
