Canada’s drilling rig count stayed at 201 active drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week ending August 26, 2022.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased 1 to 142 and the Saskatchewan rig counts increased 1 to 42.

Oil drilling decreased 1 to 136 and gas increased 1 to 65.
