The PetroLMI Division of Energy Safety Canada is researching the labour force’s interest and willingness to pursue a career in Canada’s oil and gas industry, particularly after the oil price downturn that has affected thousands of workers across Canada. The study will include input from secondary research, an online national survey, as well as a focus group. It will be released this spring.
The national survey is being conducted through the month of January and is designed for Canadian students, job seekers, and current, previous and potential oil and gas workers. It focuses on career plans, experiences and expectations, as well as overall perception of the industry.
The survey closes January 31 and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. To take the survey, please visit this link: https://research3.malatest.com/prod/cwx.cgi?EN:2018_PETRO_LMI_OP
The survey is funded by the Government of Canada’s Sectoral Initiatives Program.
