You can tell Chrystia Freeland what you think about the carbon tax TODAY.
Justin Trudeau is on his way OUT as prime minister and the carbon tax needs to be tossed in a flaming dumpster as he leaves.
But here’s what just happened over the weekend:
Former finance minister Chrystia Freeland announced she is running for Liberal Party leader.
If she wins, she will be the prime minister of Canada, at least until the next election.
Here’s what Freeland told reporters about the carbon tax:
“We have heard very clearly from Canadians in provinces where there is a consumer-facing price on carbon that they don’t like it. That’s something that we have to listen to. Democracy means when people tell you something you have to listen. I will say our party hasn’t been good enough at that. That has to change and I am going to change that.”
What does that even mean? How is it possible the former finance minister doesn’t have a clearer answer than that? And that’s the most the media could get out of her.
The media might not be able to get a clear answer out of Freeland, but you can’t let her off the hook – this is YOUR chance to demand an answer: Will Freeland scrap the carbon tax – YES or NO?

You can take action to scrap the carbon tax now. You shouldn’t wait until after the election for everything to be fixed. Like Pierre Poilievre said, politics is a “participation sport” and everyone needs to stay active to make real changes happen.
