Canada’s drilling rig count is down 8 active drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week ending April 15, 2022.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased 8 to 89 and the Saskatchewan rig counts stayed the same at 2.

Oil drilling decreased 4 to 49 and gas decreased 4 to 54.
