To achieve Net Zero, we must collaborate, share knowledge and influence change.
The goal of Net•Zero Conference & Expo is to grow Canada’s economic prosperity, while working towards carbon neutrality by 2050.
To greatly reduce carbon emissions, almost every government and industry has a role to play; and to do it without harming Canada’s economic prosperity may be the largest challenge of them all.
To some degree, we all understand the impacts of emissions on climate change and the environment, however net-zero means a radical change across the entire economy. To reach net-zero, entire industries involved in the extraction of hydrocarbons, mining, forestry, manufacturing, shipping and transportation are being forced to adapt or become extinct. While great strides have been made in renewable energy, water reuse, and emissions reduction, more must be done to meet the Paris Agreement by 2050.
To achieve success, all industries and governments must come together to collaborate, share knowledge and influence change.
Building on the past successes of Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada’s Methane Emission Reduction Forum (MERF), PTAC and EventWorx are collaborating to develop a larger scale, international conference & expo, designed to promote Canadian expertise to the world.
Exhibition space and sponsorships are available now, while the call for presentations and delegate registration will open in the coming weeks. For information please visit www.netzeroconferenceandexpo.com. Together we can achieve net•zero & grow Canada’s economy.
