Roska DBO delivers cost effective solution for produced water management.
When a producer forecasted that the initial produced water of their wells would exceed their injection capacity, they needed to find a cost effective solution that would enable them to maintain production.
With a shortage of water take away capacity in the region and long lines of trucks waiting at third party water processors, our client was facing a dramatic increase in costs to handle produced water. As a short term measure they identified a strategic site and re-licensed a water disposal well and asked Roska to set up a temporary water disposal battery.
Roska provided a temporary system that could take produced water from a pipeline riser on location, direct it through a filter skid and then pump it into the water disposal well. The temporary system successfully allowed our client to manage the bulge in produced water from their wells until the levels dropped enough for their current infrastructure to take over.
