Temporary Gas Sweetening Unit restores lost production.
When 8 wells on a multiwell pad located in the Duvernay started producing an increased amount of H2S content, the client’s existing surface and downhole treatment for H2S mitigation became increasingly difficult to manage. Additionally, the increase in H2S was souring the fuel gas for their compressors.
Roska provided the client with a temporary full stream gas sweetening unit equipped with remote monitoring through SCADA to treat their sour gas stream more effectively. This temporary installation allowed the client to increase their production on a much shorter timeline, decrease the wear and tear on their equipment, and capture trends while monitoring the performance of the equipment.
Roska DBO provided support for the first 3 weeks of run time at which point the client’s operators assumed care and control. Since start up, this installation’s performance has exceeded expectations.

“Roska is always a pleasure to work with and gets the job done efficiently to ensure our production remains online. Both of the rental projects I have worked on with Roska have been smooth and successful and any minor issues were dealt with immediately – no questions asked!”
