On September 16, 2019, Erfan Sarvaramini conducted a keynote speech at the 4th annual Canadian Shale Water Management 2019 conference, entitled “Impact of Frac Injection Volume and Rate on Performance – A Montney Case Study.” (view PDF)

In this talk, Erfan presented a geomechanical model of multistage hydraulic fracturing in the Montney Formation. This model was built based on microseismic data (Figure 1), bottom hole pressure, and geomechanical and geological parameters.
