Acheson, AB – Frac Shack has appointed Michael Ross to Chairman of the Board, replacing outgoing Chairman, Maury Van Vliet. Frac Shack would like to thank Mr. Van Vliet for his service and guidance as Chairman through 5 years of extremely successful growth and look forward to him remaining on as a Board Member.
Mr. Ross has been a Board Member since October 2017. He is currently Director and co-founder of a family held business advisory firm. Mr. Ross graduated from the University of Alberta in Commerce and Business Administration and the Queen’s University Executive Program. A lifelong learner, Michael is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). He is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds the ICD.D designation. He obtained Director Education Certificate from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), based in Washington, DC.
