Canada’s drilling rigs went down by 7 to the current count of 79 actively drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of May 11th.
From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased by 6 to 62 and the Saskatchewan rig count increased by 1 to 4.
Oil drilling went down 5 to 32 and gas rigs down 2 to 47.
