“GET OUT OF THE WAY” – REPEAL BILLS C-48 and C-69: Conservative Shadow Minister for Energy Responds to Canada’s Carbon Capture Storage Announcement

“While the Liberal government is announcing a project to map deposits in the ground, they have still not removed a single anti-development law to get Canadian energy, critical minerals, and metals out of the ground.

“Conservatives continue to call on the Carney Liberals to get out of the way and pass our economic action plan to save Canadian jobs and put more money back in Canadians’ pockets. Green-light the 500 projects awaiting federal permits, end the industrial carbon tax, repeal anti-development Bills C-48 and C-69, and adopt our proposal for zero capital gains tax on reinvestments in Canada.”
