Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. reported a second-quarter profit of $4.5 billion, up from $2.5 billion in the same quarter last year.
The company says the profit amounted to $2.15 per diluted share for the quarter ended June 30 compared with $1.17 per diluted share a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, Canadian Natural says it earned $2.19 per diluted share in its latest quarter, up from an adjusted profit of 71 cents per diluted share in the second quarter of 2025.
The company says it hit record quarterly production of 1,677,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day for the quarter, up 18 per cent from a year ago.
Canadian Natural also raised its full-year production guidance range for the second time this year to between 1,637,000 boepd and 1,682,000 boepd from its previous range of 1,615,000 to 1,665,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
