April marked a major milestone for Kathairos Solutions as we hit our third anniversary!
What began as a bold idea to rethink methane mitigation has grown into a solution that’s reshaping the landscape of environmental technology in the oil and gas industry. Today, we’re proud to share a video that reflects not just where we started, but how far we’ve come—and where we’re going next.

From the first field trials to mitigating over 460,000 tonnes of CO₂e—in just three years—our journey has been defined by resilience, teamwork, and a shared mission to drive real, measurable change.
As Dick Brown, CEO and Chairman, said “The greatest time was the first tank.” That hands-on, in-the-field work set the tone for everything to come. What followed was validation from the industry’s biggest players and a growing sense within our team that we were onto something transformative.
Over the past year, we’ve doubled down on our commitment to scale. Our nitrogen-based technology isn’t just working—it’s thriving, making a real impact at remote well sites across North America. And it’s gaining momentum as the preferred solution for methane mitigation.
“We’re no longer a startup company. We’re truly a fully commercial company—but the culture still feels like a startup. Everybody’s pitching in. Everybody knows what the goal is,” said Mike Hosford, Chief Commercial Officer.
That’s the spirit of Kathairos. It’s in the collaboration between teams, the grit of solving tough problems, and the sense of purpose that drives every project forward.
