Canada’s drilling rig count is down 10 active drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week ending December 17, 2021.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased 8 to 116 and the Saskatchewan rig counts decreased 2 to 36.

Oil drilling decreased 6 to 104 and gas decreased 5 at 62.
