We are extremely excited to announce that effective Nov.1, 2021, CDN has completed an acquisition/merger with Inphase Electric and Controls.

Inphase Electric and Controls (Brooks) Ltd. is a complete E&I construction, commissioning and maintenance service provider with a strong customer base and presence across southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. They are a full-service electrical contractor for large industrial Solar projects and were the first electrical contractor to install an industrial size solar farm in Western Canada

This represents another evolution for CDN, supporting our efforts in leading the E&I sector in Western Canada. The acquisition/merger will give us a stronger market position and increased ability to take on larger and unique projects with a diversified network of customers across many sectors.

Adding Inphase to the CDN Team will allow us to continue to build our ESG-focused services with large-scale solar PV installations as a new CDN service line.

The CDN and Inphase teams will be working closely together over the next few months to fully integrate Inphase into CDN’s operations. Inphase owners – Mike Lyster and Steve Mrakava will become part of CDN’s ownership group and will play a critical role in CDN’s Management Team, as the Director of Operations for Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan and the Director of Renewable Energy Projects, respectively.

“We are very excited to have the Inphase Team join forces with CDN. Not only does this allow us to grow our areas of operations and services, but it also solidifies CDN as a leader in the Western Canadian Energy Services sector”. Dean Fraser – Co-Founder and President, CDN

“Mike and I are very excited to share this news and the value we think it will bring to our clients. We feel this acquisition/merger will give us more opportunity to focus on our clients’ needs and improve our services to each of them going forward. This is the next step in growing the business and creating opportunity for all of us. We hope you are as excited as we are about the path forward!” Steve Mrakava – Owner, Inphase

Please join us in welcoming the Inphase Team!
