In this EV ‘Video of the Month’ example, an operator in Argentina applied EV’s FishVA service to overcome a fishing challenge and complete their unconventional well for subsequent production.
After having run several milling passes to rectify a collapsed casing interval, the operator was hit with an unexpected setback – leaving a stuck mill downhole. Due to the pipe’s condition and the unknown orientation of the fish, attempting to recover the mill blindly was not an option. EV’s Optis M125 camera, paired with EV’s FishVA service, was deployed on coiled tubing with downview video footage acquired to provide quantitative evaluation of fish location, geometry, orientation and status. EV’s Optis® Memory camera is the most robust and widely-used memory camera available to the industry. Through ruggedize engineering and flexible, high-capacity recording time, EV provide vivid, high frame rate colour video directly at the well site to support slickline conveyed well interventions.
