Av-Tek looking to bring new plastic polypropylene air valves to Canada

Introducing plastic polypropylene air valves from Av-Tek Valves. This valve is becoming increasingly popular in the United States, as people are choosing to go with this light-weight option, compared to the heavy cast iron air valves that are commonly used right now. The 1” valve is roughly 10 ounces, whereas the combination triple function air valve is about 40 Ibs. The 2” Av-Tek valve is 2 Ibs, while competitors will have theirs weigh at upwards of 80 Ibs.

Every valve comes with a bug screen, which is directly attachable to the plastic polypropylene air valve, or can be piped up from the vault, and attached to the backside. Cleaning the valve is super easy and convenient, as all it requires is unscrew the middle, and everything comes into easy to clean pieces.

These valves are easy to transport and can be stored on any service truck!
