Mitch Labuick has over 25 years’ experience with Indirect Tax, ranging from the implementation of the GST while at the Canada Revenue Agency in 1991, the more recent transitions to the harmonized sales tax (“HST”) and back to the provincial retail sales tax in British Columbia and the HST transition in Ontario while in public practice. He also brings with him a wide and diverse set of skills and expertise that include Provincial Retail Sales Taxes, Fuel Taxes, Carbon Tax, working with First Nation clients, not-for-profit sectors, as well as a non-residential insurance tax, excise taxes and other provincial levies.
