Rally4Resources in Vancouver: Trans Mountain Expansion Project Must Proceed; Feds Must Step Up.

These translations are done via Google Translate
Vancouver, March 9, 2018 – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to say positive things about Kinder Morgan’s vital plans to add sorely needed pipeline capacity to Canada’s access to Western tidewater via the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project, and we are in support of that.
However, Canadians need to see more from Ottawa then just lip service, we need shovels in the ground. So Rally4Resources is joining with a network of similarly concerned groups at a rally set for this Saturday in downtown Vancouver.
Participating groups are calling on our governments to show greater determination in advancing this and other responsible infrastructure projects even as they protect our precious water, air and land. Ottawa must uphold the rule of law.
It’s time for leadership on pipelines. It’s time for the federal government to step up and fulfill their constitutional roles – and make this pipeline project a reality.
