Canada’s drilling rigs went down by 29 to the current count of 273 actively drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of March 9th.
From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased by 21 to 187 and the Saskatchewan rig count decreased by 5 to 57.
Oil drilling went down 15 to 196 and gas rigs went down 14 to 77.
