On July 12, 2017, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) developed two regulatory amendments: B621 and B622. Transport Canada stipulates that every fuel hauler (Class 2 & 3) in operation must be fitted with an automatically activated-manual reset positive shutoff system by January 12, 2018. Due to the new regulations, there has been a massive influx of demand for the Positive Air Shutoff Systems (PASS).
