Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs dropped 7 to 213 actively drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of September 29.
From one week ago, Alberta rig counts remained at 144, the Saskatchewan rig count decreased by 5 to 39.
Oil drilling dropped by 9 to 113; gas rigs went back to 100 from 98.
