The redesigned AMS Trex Device Communicator adds HART communication via Bluetooth®, which enables an extended application library and connectivity to Bluetooth devices in the field, expanding its use cases for maintenance and reliability activities. New security features on the platform also eliminate the risk that the device or the plant will be compromised by unauthorized software. The new AMS Trex Communicator features eight times the memory of its predecessor, as well as a quad-core processor and a new operating system that will look and function similarly to modern mobile devices.
