Canada’s drilling rig count is down 13 active drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week ending April 8, 2022.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased 11 to 97 and the Saskatchewan rig counts decreased 1 to 2.

Oil drilling decreased 11 to 53 and gas decreased 2 to 58.
