Alberta will soon be introducing tougher industry benchmarks, which set greenhouse gas emissions reduction requirements per unit of production for oil sands mines. According to a recent story by CTV News Edmonton, set emissions reduction requirements will be by per unit of production and changes could take effect as early as this February 2022.
Westech Industrial’s GASERA ONE GHG analyzer is a versatile and easy-to-use multi-gas monitoring solution that can be configured to monitor emissions of greenhouse gases such methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), SF6 leakage, refrigerant leakage, anesthetic gas monitoring, soil analysis, occupational health and safety, photocatalysis, animal husbandry, and fume hood performance testing.
The analyzer uses ultra-sensitive cantilever enhanced photoacoustic detection technology with quantum cascade laser source operating at a Mid-IR fundamental spectral absorption lines of greenhouse gases methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). The GASERA ONE GHG is also unmatched in performance with extremely high sensitivity (parts per billion level!), it’s easy to use and offers an exceptionally high level of stability.
