The Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) and Geothermal Canada (GC) are hosting the inaugural virtual Energy and Emerging Technology in Geoscience Symposium (EETiG) on November 17-18. This biennial event has been designed to provide information covering a comprehensive array of topics that will be of interest to the broader professional and geotechnical community including regulators/government, professional and technical societies, proponents of geoscience-related projects, and geoscience students. The event will cover geothermal, lithium, hydrogen, helium, carbon capture and data management. It will focus on exchanging knowledge related to new technologies in these emerging energy fields, the latest research and lessons learned. Our inaugural EETIG Symposium will host a keynote presentation with Chief Cadmus Delorme, Chief of the Cowessess First Nation. His presentation will examine “Indigenous Involvement in Renewable Energy Projects”. View the full technical program of the symposium and register today!
