The Alberta Blockchain Consortium is a non profit corporation aimed at promoting and uniting the blockchain industry within our province. Our events are open to the public and all are welcome. We wish to educate and create an inclusive environment for networking, business development, and cross sector collaboration.

Our Calgary meet ups are every first Thursday of the month. We provide food, wine, non alcoholic beverages and conversation about blockchain. We prefer to engage our speakers in an interview, panel, or debate instead of having presentations.

What Blockchain can do for Alberta

Blockchain is an enabling technology that impacts all of Alberta’s industry sectors. Everyone is aware of our primary industry (oil)  and secondary industries (agriculture and forestry) but many are unaware the tertiary industry (technology) that is what enables or primary and secondary industries to thrive. Join us in learning how Blockchain technology is impacting Alberta and positioning us for economic prosperity

Directions: take the escalator up from the ground level or if coming from Centennial Place, simply cross the connecting bridge on the +15 walkway and Room A&B are on your left hand side as soon as you arrive to the Eau Claire Tower.
