- Make a video about your customers instead of yourself. Present a problem to your audience and the solution your company provides. Show customers what’s in it for them while explaining your company’s perks and opportunities to make their lives better.
- Make your story relatable to your audience. Grab your clients’ attention by opening up to them. When you align your stories with the buyer journey, they will find value in your message. Great stories are about people and their impact in the world.
- Make your viewers trust you. Marketers excel at promotion, but often miss opportunities to appeal to emotions. Stay true to your brand. Your audience may not remember what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
- Find a unique selling point. What does your client need? Think creatively and pinpoint a specific benefit of your company that is unique. How do you differentiate your brand from the competition? Remember, you want your videos to be acted upon – focus on your strengths.
- Make yourself memorable. Keeping the videos simple and to the point is key. The most critical objective is communicating a singular idea simply and elegantly. If, after the last frame your audience does not remember you or your message, the video has not done its job.
