
Meet Bobby Virdi, P.Eng.! Bobby is a Senior Stress Engineer with our Stress Engineering Services Canada office. Since joining our SESC team in 2018, he has been a valued industry expert and a go-to person for the company.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, and he is a registered professional engineer in Alberta, Canada (APEGA). Bobby possesses extensive expertise in pipeline design and static stress analysis. He has a wealth of experience in developing comprehensive engineering specifications and meticulously reviewing bid packages. Additionally, he has extensive experience in pipeline design and stress analysis using CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, and Abaqus.
Mr. Virdi’s recent work includes performing stress analyses of several buried pipelines varying in size from NPS 12 to NPS 42 and in length from 1 km to 465 km.
