Speaker Bio:
Arugha Wilkie graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.Sc in chemical Engineering. He started his well engineering career with Shell Canada in 2009 as a completions and well interventions engineer. After leaving Shell in 2016, he has provided consultancy services in well abandonment and suspension programs to various clients. Currently, he is a well abandonment engineering consultant to Terminis Downhole Services and Government of the Northwest Territories Regulatory Body (OROGO).

Arugha’s presentation will provide an overview of the development of the standard that addresses the protocols for testing properties and acceptance thresholds of chemical cement alternatives in the Province of Alberta.
