As you may be aware, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will visit Calgary on Thursday, November 22. He is set to speak at the Hyatt from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
Canada Action is organizing a rally for Calgary to show its support for our energy sector. We see the event as a great opportunity to tell the Prime Minister we deserve BETTER!
On the energy front, Canadians have reason to be frustrated, from the cancelation of the approved Northern Gateway Pipeline, to the purchase of the Trans Mountain Pipeline project by taxpayers and the resulting costly delays in its construction. All of these setbacks are further compounded by the devastating impacts of the Bill C-48 tanker ban, and now the problematic Bill C-69 debacle that would drive even more investment from the sector.
Canada’s most important export industry is beleaguered like never before, and we are calling upon you to make your voices heard.
As federal taxpayers, we’re all owners of the TransMountain Expansion project. So, we need to demand some answers!!! See you on Thursday!
