CALGARY, Alberta, Oct. 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — InPlay Oil Corp. (TSX: IPO) (OTCQX: IPOOF) (“InPlay” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that it has successfully closed its previously announced strategic disposition of certain non-core oil and gas properties in the west Pembina area of Alberta for cash consideration of $16.7 million, before closing adjustments (the “Disposition“). The details of the Disposition and the corresponding acceleration of InPlay’s 2018 Cardium development program and increased guidance was contained in the Company’s news release issued on September 13, 2018.
