On May 31, 2018, COPP’s Services Inc. (COPPS) merged its Canadian assets and operations with the Force Pile & Foundations division. We are very excited to have the Copps team join us. They bring strong technical experience and the same values and commitment to safety, quality and customer service and outstanding customer relationships that we believe in at Force/SITE. The Copps brand has been well respected throughout the industry for many years, and so we have renamed the Force entity to Force Copps Piling Inc. and the new combined team will operate under this name going forward.
We see signs of optimism from our customers and we believe that there will be considerable investment into industrial development throughout Western Canada over the next few years. Some of this will come from our traditional markets, such as SAGD producers in the oil sands and midstream pipeline projects. We are also seeing activity from other market sectors such as alternative energy projects, new power and transmission developments, the LNG sector in British Columbia, and projects such as Interpipeline’s propane dehydrogenation and propylene plant that bring upgrading and refining capacity here to Canada.
By combining these two groups, we have formed the largest fleet of Junttans in Canada and assembled one of the most experienced piling solutions team in the market. Over the past year Force has added several key team members that specialize in helical piling that bring extensive resumes and great customer relationships to the group. Today, we are confident that our people and our equipment make Force Copps the market leader for deep foundation solutions for any industrial application.
