* WCS for February delivery in Hardisty, Alberta, settled at $12.30 a barrel under the WTI benchmark, according to brokerage CalRock, having settled at $12 a barrel under the U.S. benchmark on Tuesday.
* Global oil prices fell more than 1% on Wednesday as a stronger dollar and large builds in U.S. fuel inventories last week pressured prices, reversing earlier gains driven by tightening supplies from Russia and other OPEC members.
