Your pressure against the capital gains tax is working.
Thousands of Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters like you emailed Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre and told him to fight the capital gains tax hike.
Poilievre came off the bench, voted against the capital gain tax hike and now he’s fighting it hard.
This is big for two reasons and you deserve all the credit.
First, with Poilievre now in the fight, you can be sure the momentum against Trudeau’s capital gains tax hike will grow.
Second, with Poilievre voting against the capital gains tax hike, it’s easier for Canadians to push him to reverse the tax hike if he becomes prime minister.
It’s important for taxpayers to hold politicians accountable when they get things wrong and praise them when they get things right.
Will you send Poilievre an email and thank him for sticking up for you and voting against the capital gains tax hike? Here’s Poilievre’s email: [email protected]
There is bad news. The capital gains tax is going through because the Liberals, New Democrats and Bloc voted to hike the tax. But even if it’s going through now, we’re going to keep fighting to reverse it as soon as possible.
If you’d like to let Trudeau and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh know what you think of their tax hike, you can send them an email. When you click the automatic link below, a pre-addressed email will pop up. And it will BCC us because it helps us to know what people are telling politicians.
Will you let Trudeau and Singh know what you think of their capital gains tax hike?
- No – I don’t want to send them an email today (if you’d like to tell us why, just click here)
Note: In case the automatic link isn’t working on your device, here are Trudeau and Singh’s email addresses: [email protected], [email protected]
Thank you for fighting for taxpayers – you’re making a difference!
All the best,
