Recent developments include full communications with digital control systems and sensor self-diagnostic abilities.
The presenter will look at the 12 guidelines of sustainable chemistry, the Industrial Internet of Things and how leading-edge process analytics are compatible with both concepts.
The concept of sustainable chemistry is a set of guidelines that direct process industries to meet goals without negative impact on the environment. The installation and proper use of in-line process analyzers is one of these key guidelines.
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) relates to upgrading facilities according to Industry 4.0 principles. In relation to process analytics, the benefits of IIoT include reduced worker-hours and errors through a sound predictive maintenance strategy.
