Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs decreased by 61 rigs, or 47% to a total of 70 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of December 28th.
From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased 47 to 57 and the Saskatchewan rig counts decreased 11 to 0.
Oil drilling decreased 43 to 15 and gas decreased 18 to 55.
