Demystify AI: Automated classification of rock facies using AI – COSIA

COSIA, a CRIN member, is pleased host a lunch and learn with Dr. Subrata Biswas and Amit Varma from Braintoy who will share a real-world example of how an AI was trained to learn from data from ~120 wells to reliably predict well-log data, which could then be used for subsurface applications such as rock facies classification.

Participants will learn how the AI was trained, engage with their tablemates, share constructive feedback and offer advice in moving the technology forward.
