This is a gentle reminder for all members and the general public to please ensure that you show your support for the development of LNG in British Columbia. Since the development of LNG will have many spin-off benefits for all Canadians, we would appreciate support from Canadians in all provinces. The deadline for public input is March 11th. You can do this with a letter of support for LNG the CEAA and the other ministries and politicians involved. All the emails required are provided below:
There is no need for a long, wordy letter. A brief statement, such as the following, can get your point across:
“As a Canadian citizen , I say YES to the critically important birth of an LNG export industry in BC. I implore the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency and the Government of Canada to immediately approve the Pacific NorthWest LNG Project.”
This statement, a personal letter expressing your opinion or one of the sample letters provided on the ESBC website, should be sent to the *Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency* with copies to the following people:
Prime Minister Trudeau; Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna; Minister of Finance, Bill Morneau; Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, Hunter Tootoo; Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Jody Wilson-Raybould; Minister of International Trade, Chrystia Freeland; Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan; Minister of Natural Resources, Jim Carr; Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities Hon.Carla.Qualtrough; Minister of Transport, Marc Garneau.
