RED DEER, ALBERTA–Jewel Energy Service Inc. is pleased to announce the closing of the acquisition of all the coil tubing, nitrogen and fluid pumping assets of Sabre Well Servicing based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta effective June 17, 2016.
Jim McQuarrie, President and CEO of Jewel commented; “This acquisition allows Jewel to expand its geographic footprint into northern Alberta with proven assets and people. More importantly, it gives us the equipment to expand our service offerings to our customers to include acidizing and remedial cementing. We believe that in the current market conditions, maintaining production is very important to the success of E&P companies. Jewel’s technology in the acid business is second to none, as our packages have a proven history of success.”
Jewel plans on continuing to add good assets and people through M&A. We believe that consolidation is necessary in these uncertain times in the service business and to continue Jewel Energy’s growth plans.
