Coming January 12th, 2017 – Fairmont Palliser Hotel: Calgary, Alberta

KellyAnne Conway

Kellyanne Conway, the woman who managed Donald Trump’s successful U.S. Presidential campaign is coming  to speak to Calgary business leaders just days before Donald Trump’s inauguration.

In addition to being Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne also served as the businessman’s top television surrogate and one of his key strategists in what was a hard fought and often bitter presidential campaign.

The dinner and speaking event is a private fund raising event for the Alberta Prosperity Fund, a conservative political action committee founded in 2015, in part to advocate for the merger of the Wildrose and Progressive Conservative Parties in Alberta.  The Alberta Prosperity Fund has publicly endorsed former Conservative MP Jason Kenny in the PC Leadership Race.

“Ms. Conway is a very influential member of the  U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team and someone that I personally admire as a woman in politics,” said Heather Forsyth of the Alberta Prosperity Fund.  “Her visit to Alberta at this time should send a strong message to Canadians on the importance of Alberta to the United States.”  In addition to her roles with the Trump campaign, Ms. Conway is president and CEO of the polling company, Women Trend.

Trump’s win in November has renewed hope among some in the oilpatch that the controversial Keystone XL Pipeline, rejected by the Obama administration, will be approved after all.
